I am a ceramic artist who loves the process as much as the product. I am drawn to the organic nature of clay and the meditative state required to fully transform it into a work of art. I have long admired the interplay of complexity and simplicity in nature and strive to replicate that in my work, using streamlined yet evocative shapes and enhancing them through alterations in the clay body itself, carving, texture, and glazing.
