Get an inside look at some of the best art in West Seattle!

Our mission
The West Seattle Art Tour offers an annual showcase of our vibrant artist community, representing a full spectrum of mediums. This self-guided tour through West Seattle’s beautiful neighborhoods invites visitors into the spaces where artists live and work, provides opportunities to learn about their ideas and processes, and offers the chance to purchase exceptional artworks often not found elsewhere. Our goal is to create an event that attracts regional audiences while strengthening and celebrating the local arts community.
Plan your route through West Seattle using our map and website, which highlight each site and the artists exhibiting there. With its two-day format, the Tour makes it easy to explore different parts of the peninsula each day while enjoying the beauty of the surrounding neighborhoods.
Art lovers will have the opportunity to meet the artists, learn about their process and techniques, and, in some cases, see demonstrations or works in progress.
During The Tour, you’ll be able to purchase one-of-a-kind, handmade artworks across a wide range of mediums, approaches, and price points.

The West Seattle Art Tour Association and site hosts assume no liability for injuries, property damage, theft, or loss of artwork during the two-day tour.
Held annually on the third weekend in September, the West Seattle Art Tour showcases a vibrant array of 2D and 3D artists in the very spaces where they create, live, teach, and work. This community-driven event is organized and hosted entirely by the artists themselves.
Each year, more than 50 professional and emerging artists are selected by jury to participate. The Tour features “host sites”—the home or studio of a participating artist—each of whom welcomes several additional artists into their space. This collaborative approach makes the experience more accessible for visitors and fosters camaraderie among the artists.
